HR Specialist with a Focus on Competence Supply

The HR department is tasked with creating conditions for a business-driven, professional, accessible, and equitable HR support within the Police Authority. The department is responsible for the authority's overall work in areas such as competence supply, competence development, recruitment and staffing, employer policy and agreements, leadership and employee relations, work environment, and culture.

We are now looking for an HR specialist focused on competence supply, who wants to be part of the development of Sweden's largest authority. With us, you will develop and gain lifelong experiences together with engaged colleagues. You will belong to the operational HR in the South Police Region, led by an HR manager and five group managers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We believe in you and your abilities, and therefore we give you ample space in your role as an HR specialist. You will work closely with colleagues and the managers of the operations where your ability to create and maintain good relationships is of utmost importance. Our main mission is to provide all managers with the conditions to lead and develop their operations. As an HR specialist, you are an important part of this work. Your tasks are varied, and you will work strategically and operationally with issues such as:

  • proactive and systematic competence supply work
  • contributing to the growth of the Police Authority by participating in our attraction work
  • contributing to our work with leadership supply and leadership development
  • being a strategic, proactive, and consultative support to managers and HR colleagues.
  • other recurring tasks such as planning and implementing competence-enhancing initiatives and participating in various development assignments.

QUALIFICATIONS

This is an opportunity for you who have:

  • Academic education in the HR field or other education and experience that the employer deems relevant.
  • Several years of experience in HR work, of which at least three years of qualified HR work recently, as well as experience in providing proactive and operational support regarding all parts of the ARUBA process.
  • Experience in leading, planning, and following up on assignments and processes.
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
  • Good administrative skills and good knowledge of the Office package.

It is advantageous if you also have:

  • Experience with similar tasks within the public sector or other public operations
  • Experience in change and development work in larger or complex organizations

You apply a results-oriented, condition-creating, and structured working method, and with a good pedagogical ability, you can translate strategies into action. Furthermore, we see that you have a strong drive, are analytical, have the ability to create and maintain trusting relationships, have a reflective and coaching approach with a good ability to listen, engage in constructive dialogue, and collaborate.
